At our appointment we got to see both of her arms and legs as well as the femur bone (in her leg) and the humerus bone (from the shoulder to the elbow). We saw her skull, her spine, and the chambers in her heart. At one point she had her mouth open and we watched her close her mouth - it was cute. She was turning around quite a bit in there! I learned that I have a anterior placenta, which basically means that the placenta is growing in front of my uterus. It poses no risk to my healthy or delivery, but it might be harder for me to feel her kicking/punching because she is using the placenta as her punching bag:)
Other than that, we had the ultrasound tech write whether it was a boy or a girl on a piece of paper and we sealed the envelope for later delivery to the bakery:)
Boy or girl party coming up next!

she's beautiful! congratulations, you guys.
