My sweet Nelia turned two years old on June 25th. I am so incredibly blessed to have such a beautiful, amazing, loving, energetic, spunky, and strong-willed little girl.
On her birthday morning she woke up at her usual time, 6ish, and I was so excited to go into her room and sing Happy Birthday and take her picture. Unfortunately, she had other plans and woke up on the wrong side of the crib:) However, that didn't last long! She was showered with attention the entire day, got to ride the carousel at the mall, have dessert before dinner (!!!) at Baskin Robbins, and eat dinner at Puerto Vallarta. It was a fun celebration day!!!
She opened up a few gifts on her birthday too! We got her this water/sand table that she was super excited about, even without any water or sand in it:)

Nelia's BFF Hunter had this same Woody doll (that she loved!), and since he moved away, we figured she needed one of her own...and now it can always remind her of Hunter:)
Her birthday party was the next day, June 26th, at Gymboree. We have been taking classes since she was six months old, she adores Gymbo the Clown, and loves her teacher Miss Lucinda so I thought this would be the perfect fit for her birthday party. It was a complete blast celebrating with about 17 of her little friends!
One of the highlights for me was when she sang 'Happy Birthday' to herself as everyone was singing to her. So sweet!!! We have been to lots of parties in the last few months so she has had plenty of practice:) And then she even blew out her candle all by herself! The party was a complete success! It was a busy day so we headed home and she opened up presents over the next three days:)
She is such a lucky little girl to have so many people who love her!!! Thank you family and friends for celebrating this day with us - love you all!
